A clean install is the best way to set up a new PC or wipe a virus-infected hard drive. To do this, you need a Windows 11 bootable USB drive. Here is how to create one using Microsoft's official Media Creation Tool.

What You Need

• A working Windows PC with internet access.
• A USB flash drive with at least 8GB of space (Warning: all data on it will be erased!).
• A genuine Windows 11 product key.

Step 1: Download the Tool

Go to the official Microsoft software download page and click the "Download Now" button under the "Create Windows 11 installation media" section.

Step 2: Create the Media

Run the downloaded tool. Accept the terms, choose your language, and select "USB flash drive" as the media to use. Select your USB drive from the list and click Next. The tool will download Windows 11 and format your drive.

Step 3: Install Windows
