By default, Windows 11 collects a lot of diagnostic data to help Microsoft improve the OS and serve targeted ads. If you value your privacy, you should change these settings immediately.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Diagnostics & feedback. Change the diagnostic data setting from "Optional" (which sends browser history and app usage) to "Required" (which only sends critical error logs).
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > General. Turn off "Let apps show me personalized ads by using my advertising ID".
Scroll down in the Privacy settings to manage which apps have access to your Location, Camera, and Microphone. Turn these off for any apps that don't explicitly need them.
